There is a connector between distilling unit and the collecting vessel.
In this one can fit an active charcoal filter if desired. Through this connecter
the distilled water is protected from dust, insects, etc. The collecting
vessel is of polycarbonate, the best plastics material for storing water.
The water still is supplied complete with a cleaner that easily removes
deposits on the boiling vessel, and a pack of 6 activated carbon filters.
These last for at least one year. Many users do not use them.
The boiling vessel is made from stainless steel, the only material that
lasts “for ever”.
The cooling system is of stainless steel, which in principle has unlimited life.
The water distillation unit is supplied complete. You get everything
required for going ahead and distilling your own water. The apparatus
is packed in pre-formed expanded polystyrene offering maximum
protection during transport. The illustrated instructions are in
English. Nothing else is required. Just filling with water and
pressing the start button could not be simpler.
